Sergey Akhlebinin
Sergey Akhlebinin was born and raised in Russia and graduated from Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics with a degree in Economics and Mathematics. He completed his military service in the Main Command of the Internal Troops of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. During his service, he was awarded the “For Distinction in Service” badges of the 1st and 2nd degrees and was discharged with the rank of Junior Sergeant.
Sergey’s professional career began at the Bank of Russia in the Monetary Policy Department, where he was involved in macroeconomic forecasting to support key rate decisions. He then worked at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in the Department of Macroeconomic Policy, conducting macroeconomic forecasts at the supranational level and providing training on the use of the mathematical forecasting complex for EAEU member states.
After moving to Armenia, he became one of the leaders of the Green Green volunteer initiative, through which he established the country’s first Eco-Center.
