The Office maintains active communication with entrepreneurs

Today, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan visited orchards set up by American-Armenian businessman Razmik Grigorian in the village of Proshyan in the Kotayk Province. The 40 hectares of grape, apple, peach, and apricot orchards yield abundant crops which are exported. Mr. Grigorian already has plans for another 10 hectares.

During an interview with H1, RA High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan introduced our Office’s upcoming Repatriation and Integration Center, which is intended to help repatriates and those thinking about repatriating with every step of the process. In addition, the High Commissioner discussed some of the current customs-related obstacles many Diaspora Armenians face today and the work being done to change this reality.

Discussion topics included post-war and post-election developments, as well as support for the Diaspora’s various philanthropy projects in Armenia. We look forward to fostering further cooperation between our Office and the U.S. Embassy.

High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan visited the RA Ministry of Defense’s Vazgen Sargsyan Military University today. Mr. Sinanyan took a tour led by the head of the university, Colonel Khachatur Khachatryan, and learned about opportunities and daily activities at the educational institution.
