            The participants of the Step Toward Home program are continuing to explore their homeland through visits to Armenia’s historical landmarks, cultural sites, and museums.
As part of the program’s second phase, they visited the Cafesjian Center for the Arts, the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) office, and the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, where they laid flowers in remembrance of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide. They also had a traditional military-style lunch and toured the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy, along with several other notable sites across the country.

Prime Minister received the participants of the “iGorts” program

            Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received at the Government the participants of the “iGorts” program for involving Diaspora specialists in the state administration bodies of the Republic of Armenia.
The Prime Minister attached importance to the implementation of the “iGorts” program and noted that these meetings, which have become traditional, provide an opportunity to discuss various issues, share impressions about the state administration system, and the processes taking place in Armenia.

The first phase of the Step Toward Home program has officially launched

            The first phase of the Step Toward Home educational and cultural program for Armenian youth from the diaspora has officially launched, bringing together 49 participants aged 13–18 from the United States, Russia, and Georgia.
During the opening ceremony, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, welcomed the participants to Armenia and wished them a meaningful and enriching experience.

Zareh Sinanyan met with a delegation from the University of Southern California

            On June 3, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, met with a delegation from the University of Southern California (USC). The delegation included 15 USC students, as well as Gegham Mughnetsyan, a researcher and archivist at the USC Institute of Armenian Studies, and Steve Swerdlow, a human rights advocate and associate professor of political science and international relations at USC.
