The High Commissioner visited the office of the "Armenian Food Bank" charitable fund

The High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan, along with 18 of the participants from the Diaspora Youth Ambassador program, visited the office of the "Armenian Food Bank" charitable fund. Currently, the fund is collecting resources to aid in the support of forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of RA has launched an online platform, “Mapping of Social Support Services” - map.socservice.am, to catalog and coordinate the existing resources of international structures, non-governmental organizations, and social initiatives from the Diaspora and Armenia interested in supporting forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh.

The High Commissioner spoke at the European Economic Forum

High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan participated as a speaker at the European Economic Forum, which is taking place in Poland this year, hosting 4000 participants. The High Commissioner participated in the panel discussion entitled “The Policy of States Towards Their Diasporas and Mutual Relations”, alongside the Director of the Lithuanian state’s Global Lithuania Department Lina Žukauskaitė. The panel was moderated by Poland’s Government Plenipotentiary for the Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad, Secretary of State Jan Dziedziczak.
