On Tuesday, Chief of Staff at the RA Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Sara Anjargolian, welcomed representatives of different Armenian organizations from the southern region of France to our Office, including the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations in France - Section SUD (CCAF SUD), Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in France, Armenian Youth of France (JAF Marseille), “Bardzunk-5165" Armenian-French Charitable Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF).

During his visit to the United States, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan met with representatives of the Armenian Educational Foundation, headed by President Peter Baghdassarian. There were discussions around important educational initiatives tied to bringing together Diaspora educational organizations and holding a joint forum, providing scholarships to wounded servicemen and customs issues linked to charitable goods being sent from the Diaspora to Armenia.

High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan visited “Artek” Armenian kindergarten in Glendale, which now has more than 50 pupils. The Commissioner learned about the children’s day-to-day activities, watched Armenian song and dance performances and noted the importance of preserving and developing Armenian identity from an early age.
