On April 24, Diaspora Youth Ambassador to the United Kingdom Noemi Stepan-Sarkissian visited the Armenian Community Center in Cardiff to take part in the Genocide commemoration events and present the "Diaspora Youth Ambassador" program. The community has shown great interest in the office’s programs.

Zareh Sinanyan had meetings in Valencia

During his visit to Spain, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan met with Mayor of Mislata Carlos Fernandez Bielsa accompanied by Chairman of the “Ararat” Union Ararat Ghukasyan. During the meeting, the importance of the role and presence of the Armenian community in the city, as well as the city's recognition of the Armenian Genocide and pro-Armenian policy was noted. Then the High Commissioner laid flowers on the Armenian khachkar of the city.

The Parliament of Catalonia celebrated the Day of Remembrance of the Armenian Genocide

High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan took part in the presentation ceremony of a brochure dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the victims of the Armenian Genocide and Genocide in the Parliament of Catalonia. RA Ambassador to Spain Sos Avetisyan, First Vice President of the Parliament Alba Vergés and author of the brochure Marta Simon spoke at the event.

The High Commissioner met with the Armenian community of Malaga

During his working visit to Spain, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan visited Malaga. Accompanied by the representatives of the community, he toured the Armenian Apostolic Church of St. Mary, which is the only Armenian church in Spain and which was founded by the donors and benefactors of the local community. There is also a one-day Armenian school on the territory of the church.
