A khachkar dedicated to the Armenian-Polish relations was opened in Poland

During his visit to Poland, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan in Zabrze participated in the opening ceremony of the khachkar dedicated to the 655th anniversary of the archbishopric of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Poland and centuries-old Armenian-Polish friendship. The opening ceremony was attended by RA Ambassador to Poland Samvel Mkrtchyan, RA Honorary Consul in Zabrze Hrachya Boyajyan and others.

The first Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs in a foreign country has been appointed

The appointment of Commissioners for Diaspora Affairs in foreign countries has begun. By the decision of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the Director of the Polish-Armenian Foundation Diana Hovakimyan has been appointed as the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs in Poland, serving as an advisor on a volunteer basis.

High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan participated as a speaker at the European Economic Forum, which is taking place in Poland this year, hosting 4000 participants. The High Commissioner participated in the panel discussion entitled “The Policy of States Towards Their Diasporas and Mutual Relations”, alongside the Director of the Lithuanian state’s Global Lithuania Department Lina Žukauskaitė. The panel was moderated by Poland’s Government Plenipotentiary for the Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad, Secretary of State Jan Dziedziczak.
