Members of «iGorts» paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide

The participants of the 2022-2023 round of the «iGorts» program of Diaspora Armenian specialists working in the RA government system visited the Memorial Complex of Tsitsernakaberd and laid flowers in memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide. Then they took a tour of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

The first phase of the free Armenian language course for repatriates has been completed

During the previous three months, about 80 repatriates had the opportunity to take part in the free Armenian language courses organized by the Repatriation and Integration Center of our office. Classes are held in cooperation with the BigMind Educational Center. Repatriates from 9 countries participated in the first phase of the training: Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Egypt, the USA, the Netherlands.

The programs of the office were presented at the interregional gathering «To Jermuk»

Last weekend, the delegation of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs took part in the interregional gathering «To Jermuk», which was organized by Youth Center of Jermuk and «Strong Mind» NGO. More than 300 young people aged 14 to 25 from the regions of Armenia took part in the gathering. The purpose of the event was to create strong ties and cooperation, transfer new knowledge and brainstorm together on innovative ideas.

High Commissioner Sinanyan had an online meeting with more than 10 regional community organizations of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. The meeting participants were from Astana, Almaty, Aktau, Uralsk, Petropavlovsk, Kostanay, Shymkent, Aktobe, Tashkent, Samarkand, Andijan and Dushanbe.
