The Step Toward Home Program for Diaspora Youth Has Been Launched

YEREVAN, ARMENIA (February 19, 2024) - The Office of the RA High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs has begun accepting applications for the two-week "Step Toward Home" 2024 program. The program allows Diaspora Armenian youth aged 13-18 to come to Armenia, discover their homeland, and strengthen their national identity. The program includes Armenian language (Eastern Armenian, Western Armenian), Armenian studies, national song and dance courses, visits to historical and cultural sites in Armenia, museums and educational institutions, meetings with state and public officials, artists and cultural figures, as well as sports and cultural events.

iGorts 2024: Diaspora Specialists Invited to Contribute to the RA Public Sector

The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia is now receiving applications for the iGorts 2024 program. The program offers Armenian professionals from the Diaspora a chance to work in over twenty Armenian state entities for a one-year duration. Eligible applicants include Diaspora specialists with a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of work experience, or those with a Master's degree (or higher) and three years of professional work experience.

Successful Conclusion of Free Integration Courses for Repatriates

On November 30, the Repatriation and Integration Center of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia held the final meeting of the free integration seminar-courses for repatriates in 2023. This year, the Center has organized the seminar-courses in 10 stages, with the participation of approximately 100 repatriates from 13 countries.
