On April 27, in Laxou, France, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, took part in a commemorative event marking the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, held near the Armenian khachkar installed in Laxou Park.
In his remarks, the High Commissioner emphasized the enduring importance of the pursuit of justice and the responsibility to pass down the historical truth to future generations.

On April 26, within the framework of his working visit to France’s Grand Est region, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, participated in a conference titled “The Armenian People: Yesterday and Today” at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Strasbourg.
The event was organized by the “Diaspora Arménienne du Grand Est” Association as part of the “Map of Memory” festival.

Zareh Sinanyan's working visit to Alicante, Spain

On April 23-24, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, paid a working visit to Alicante, Spain.
As part of the visit, Mr. Sinanyan met with Hasmik Torosyan-Grigoryan, Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs in Spain. The discussion focused on enhancing the effective utilization of the Armenian community’s potential in Alicante and increasing youth engagement in community activities.

Today, we unite to honor the memory of the 1.5 million innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide.
One hundred and ten years ago, the horrific atrocity committed by the Ottoman Empire-the Armenian Genocide-left an indelible scar on the fate of our nation and the course of its future.
As we know, the majority of the global Armenian population and many of our communities were formed in the aftermath of the tragic events of 1915.

Zareh Sinanyan's working visit to Spain

As part of his working visit, Zareh Sinanyan, held a series of meetings in Barcelona on April 22. He met with Hayk Yeghiazaryan, President of the “Hayk” Armenian Union of Barcelona; Tatev Suleyan, Chairperson of the Armenian Cultural Union; and Sarkis Hakobyan, Head of the “Ararat” Armenian Union of Santa Coloma.
